Our Objective
“To have a formal Health and Social Services Networking Partnership Initiative committee consisting of members from community organizations, the health and social services sector and the English-speaking community working together through cooperation and partnership to improve and maintain access to health and social services for the English-speaking population of the Côte-Nord Health / Region 09.”
A few accomplishments…
- - Support to the regional health agency and the CSSSs in our territory;
- - Wellness activities for seniors;
- - “Stand Up and Be Counted” campaign;
- - Assessments and reports on the needs of the North Shore English-speaking population;
- - Delivery of CHEP videoconference sessions in Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles;
- - Community portrait of Sept-îles, in collaboration with the INSPQ;
- - Production of Community Health Guide: Resources for Seniors;
- - Development of a knowledge base of the English-speaking communities on the North Shore;
- - Intergenerational activities.
